What Does a Marketing Specialist Do?
Insurance marketing can be defined as frontline underwriting to bring together insurance carriers with insurance clients that are the best fit. As a Marketing Specialist, your main focus is supporting the marketing team by processing work associated with new and renewal business insurance accounts, including but not limited to, importing data from a current insurance policy, into our management system accurately and without error.
Compensation
Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000
Salary is dependent on collective experience, knowledge, and skillsets for the posted role.

Core Duties and Expectations
· Enter accurate client information into system applications.
· Set up new client accounts in client management system.
· Update Marketing Department New/Renewal business spreadsheet
· Review and update client information when necessary.
· Save new business information such as policies, schedules, loss runs, emails, etc. from carrier websites into dedicated system
· Create new business submissions using information received from internal team.
· Prepare quotes and renewal proposals for delivery to producer
· Generate Pre renewal documents/processing including
· Check policies for accuracy and send change request to carriers as needed.
· Gather information for monthly new business email
· Maintain culture of employee ownership – contribute time and support to agency/carrier events or activities that strengthen our culture
· Projects as requested by Leader including assisting marketing team with program business and carrier reports.
Job requirements
· 1 – 3 years of Business Insurance customer service experience (or equivalent) preferred
· Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, required
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required
· EPIC experience, preferred
· High technical acumen, required
· Detail-oriented
· Ability to organize and prioritize work responsibilities, required
· Ability to contribute to agency revenue goals by following established policies and procedures
· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, required
· Ability to obtain Minnesota Property and Casualty insurance license within 45 days of start date, required
