This past Saturday, Team Christensen Group braved the icy waters of Lake Riley for the Polar Plunge, raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics Minnesota. With 20 CG employees and 16 friends and family members, our 36-person team raised an incredible $21,417, including a generous $5,207 matching donation from Christensen Group Insurance.

The event held special meaning as we plunged alongside Ross Abraham, a proud Special Olympics athlete of 12 years and a valued member of our team. Ross’s energy and dedication embody the true spirit of inclusion and empowerment that the Special Olympics movement champions.

Special Olympics is more than a sporting event—it’s a celebration of ability, confidence, and community. We’re honored to support this mission and be part of creating a more inclusive world.
